❓ How to use this converter

    Download a blank template

    Grab the FCL, LCL, or Air template above. All forwarders use the same template for each mode.

    Fill in your rates

    Enter your lane details and charges in the template, then save the file. The orange columns are mandatory. On FCL and LCL, tick IOF on a lane when IOF applies (adds 3.5% to Ocean Freight, Origin THC and Origin B/L); leave it unticked if your rate already includes it.

    Select your forwarder

    Choose your company from the dropdown. Your selection decides how the file is converted, so the template no longer needs your name filled in.

    Upload and convert

    Upload your saved template and click Convert. The shipping mode (FCL / LCL / Air) is detected automatically from the file.

    Review and complete

    Check the preview. Complete any highlighted required fields (ports, cities, countries, validity dates, lead time) and set the currency for each charge component.

    Download the result

    Once everything is valid, download the converted file — it is ready to upload into the system.

Good to know

  • Each rate card name must be unique. If duplicates are flagged, amend a lane detail (origin / destination / incoterm) so each is distinct.
  • If a destination isn’t mapped to an alias yet, reach out to Trames Support (support@trames.freshdesk.com) to have one created.
  • Your file is processed in your browser and never stored on our servers.
